Library survey

Libraries Survey

As most of you know, the William R. Jenkins Architecture and Art Library staff has conducted satisfaction surveys in each of the past three fall semesters.  The survey results guide planning and track development.  The UH Libraries system also conducts its own survey each spring, called LibQUAL.  In the past, the library was unable to do a separate analysis for each of the branch libraries. That is now corrected, however.  In the future, therefore, the Jenkins Library will offer its survey in the spring.

I know many of you recently helped us by completing our survey last semester, and we are very grateful.  If you are willing and able, would you please consider completing the new one.  It is quite different and will be open through Friday, the 18th.  It should take 10 – 15 minutes for you to complete the LibQUAL survey. It was developed and is administered by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL). Your responses are sent to ARL’s office, and only the analysis and compiled demographic data are available to us. If you would like more information about the survey, it is available on their web site at http://www.libqual.org/About/index.cfm. Collected data will be used to improve library services.
