EndNote Web is a web-based reference/citation manager that helps you gather, store, organize references, and it also helps to generate bibliographies in a variety of styles. It is free to UH users.
In this workshop you will learn the basic features of EndNote Web. Topics include creating a EndNote Web account, importing data to EndNote Web, creating folders , sharing references, and using EndNote Web with MS Word to formulate reference lists and in-text citations.
Training Workshop for RefWorks

RefWorks is an online based citation/reference manager. It helps you to gather, store, organize references and it generates bibliographies in a variety of styles, such as APA and MLA. It is free to UH users.
In this workshop you will learn the basic features of RefWorks, a bibliographic management software. Topics include creating a RefWorks account, importing data to RefWorks, creating folders, sharing references, and using RefWorks with MS Word to formulate reference lists and in-text citations.
CONSTRUCTION – Blue Wing, Anderson Library
Beginning this Thursday, March 11th, we will have contractors in the building doing repair work in the south east corner of the BLUE Wing. This work will last until Friday, March 19th. The work will be noisy and may cause some disruptions to patrons using this area. We recommend you use other quiet areas within the building during this construction. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Remote access has been restored
Remote access to library resources has been restored.
Remote and some local access to electronic resouces is down
Both remote and local access to many of the Libraries’ electronic resources is not working. The UH Libraries’ IT Departments and the Electronic Resources Department are currently working on restoring access as quickly as possible. At this time, no time estimate is available regarding when access is expected to be restored.
Now, print OR copy using your Cougar OneCard!
Your Cougar OneCard library print allocation can now be used for photocopies! There are two new copiers in the Anderson Library, as well as new copiers in the Pharmacy, Music and Architecture & Art Branch Libraries! Use your Cougar OneCard to release copy jobs just as you do to release print jobs.
For quick copy jobs, these copiers also offer FREE scan-to-email capability. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Library book on display at the MFAH
One of the William R. Jenkins Architecture and Art Library’s first edition copies of Learning from Las Vegas is now on display at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The exhibition, Ruptures and Continuities: Photography Made after 1960 from the MFAH Collection, will be on view through May 9th. This is the second consecutive year that the MFAH has borrowed a book from the collection for an exhibit. See mfah.org for more information.
UH Library Catalog Down for System Maintenance Friday Night at 10:00 PM
The UH Library Catalog will need to go offline for 30 minutes Friday night (2-19-1010) at 10:00PM for system maintenance. Remote access to Electronic Resources may be interrupted while maintenance is underway.
