Cambridge Core Maintenance Sunday, August 24, 2019

Books on Cambridge Core will be unavailable on Saturday, August 24th, between 2am-6am CDT. This is for essential maintenance which will provide improved performance going forwards.

Ebsco Ebook platform maintenance 8/22/2019-8/24/2019

Ebsco Ebook platform will be undergoing routine maintenance from Wednesday, 8/22/2019 through Friday, 8/24/2019. They may be intermittent connectivity problems when trying to connect to an ebook from the Ebsco platform. If you experience a connection problem. please try your request at a later time.

DynaMed update August 21, 2019-RESOLVED

DynaMed is updating its platform tomorrow morning, Wednesday, August 21, 2019. The process will begin at 4am and could take up to two hours. During this time, you should still be able to access DynaMed, but there may be some minor blips.

PubMed currently unavailable

As you may have noticed, our links from PubMed articles to the full text are not working.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are working with PubMed to get this back up and running as soon as possible.

In the meantime, here is a suggested workaround for obtaining the full text of articles you find in PubMed.

First, open a second tab on your browser and go the UH Libraries webpage at https://libraries.uh.edu.

Next, copy the title of the article from PubMed.

Paste the title into the search box on the UH Libraries webpage, and click “Search.”

In the results, click on “Available Online.”

Click on the link under “View Online – Full text availability.” If there are multiple links, try whichever one has the best date availability.

For articles we have, this should take you to a page where you can download the PDF.

O’Reilly for Higher Education Site Maintenance 7/24/2019-RESOLVED

We apologize for the late notice, but O’Reilly Media is having planned site maintenance which may result in the O’Reilly for Higher Education platform login being inaccessible for up to 1 hour on July 24th, beginning at 8 PM CDT (users already logged in, or users accessing via mobile will be able to continue to use the platform).

Emerald platform maintenance Feb. 5, 2019 – RESOLVED

Emerald Insight platform will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2019 from 2AM for at least 12 hours. The platform will be unavailable during this scheduled maintenance.

ProQuest and Alexander Street Press Product Downtime January 19, 2019 – RESOLVED

On January 19, 2019, from 9pm for approximately 8 hours, most ProQuest, Alexander Street Press, Sanborn Maps, Chadwyck-Healey databases will be unavailable.

ProQuest will be performing routine maintenance to maintain the currency and security of their products.

DynaMed – System Maintenance January 9-February 1 – RESOLVED

Content updates will be unavailable through February 1st, for DynaMed due to scheduled maintenance. DynaMed will be available to subscribers and our Systematic Literature Surveillance and review processes will continue during this time. You can expect to see all updates that occurred during maintenance by February 1st, 2019.

Duke University Press 2018 Temporarily Unavailable – RESOLVED

Duke University Press has discovered issues in accessing 2018 content on their platform. They unfortunately do not have an ETA as to when access will be fully restored.
