Printing/Learning Commons UNAVAILABLE July 12th
The Learning Commons computers and printing services across the library will be UNAVAILABLE on Monday, July 12th for equipment maintenance and software upgrades.
Users may wish to use the Technology Commons lab located in the basement of the library (entrance in the back facing the University Center) on the 12th. Equipment checkout from the Learning Commons will be available.

Water Pressure Has Been Restored
Water has been restored to the building at this time. If you encounter and fixtures malfunctioning or overflowing please inform the Information Desk.
No Water Pressure in the Library
Water will be out in the building for an indeterminate amount of time today as a water main leak is being repaired. Water is also out at the University Center, but in other buildings on campus it is normal.
POWER INTERRUPTION, Saturday, March 20th
There will be a brief interruption to building power on Saturday, March 20th, some time between 3-4pm. The interruption is expected to be momentary, but all computers in the building will shut down. Please read posted notices in the building and listen for the announcement which will give the actual time for the power interruption.
As always, users are cautioned to save their work frequently, and to complete tasks before the power interruption. We expect users to be able to resume normal work following the power interruption.

Possible Interruption in Services
On Monday, December 28th, 2009, a scheduled power outage will take place in many buildings on the UH campus, including the M.D. Anderson Library. Although it is anticipated that power will be restored by 10 a.m. when the Library is scheduled to open that day, it is possible that the power outage might extend beyond its scheduled down time. Online access and the computers would be unavailable during that time.
