We'll be discussing the graphic novel set Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood and Persepolis 2: The Story of a Return by Marjane Satrapi. Persepolis is Marjane Satrapi's autobiographical account of her childhood in Iran during the Islamic Revolution, life in Vienna as a teenager and ultimate return to Iran as an adult

New Hours for Tue., Jan. 2, 2007
While the University is closed in honor of the late President Gerald Ford on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, the M. D. Anderson Library will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 pm. The branch libraries will remain closed. Normal hours will resume on Wednesday, January 3.

Open Workshop: Music Score Repair
The Music Library is hosting a workshop Tuesday, November 7th at 1 p.m. entitled Giving Old Scores New Life. They will provide tips for care and maintenance of your favorite scores. Constitution Day Exhibit Held Over
The exhibit of original and facsimile materials related to the period of the American Revolution and the development of the U.S. Constitution has been held over in the M.D. Anderson Library. The exhibit is housed in two display cases on the first floor of the Anderson Library, across from the glass, wall display cases toward the rear of the floor. Among the items on display are facsimile copies of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Also displayed are original letters written by George Washington and Charles Pinckney.
Constitution Day Resources and Exhibit
Check out our exhibit of materials relating to the U.S. Constitution. You can see a facsimile copy of the Constitution, as well as original items from our Special Collections department that date back to the American revolution and the founding of our country. The exhibit is in two cases located on the first floor opposite the wall display cases, nesar the ARC.
