M.D. Anderson Library Open at 11:00am on Sundays!
You asked – we listened! For those of you who want to get an early start on your studying on Sundays, the M.D. Anderson Library is now piloting an earlier open time of 11:00am on Sundays! Let us know what you think!
Library Open 24 Hours During Finals
The M.D. Anderson Library will be open extended hours during the Spring 2011 Finals period.
May 3 – Open at 7am; Open 24 hrs
May 4 – Open 24 hrs
May 5 – Open 24 hrs
May 6 – Close at 11:45pm
May 7 – 8:00am – 7:45pm
May 8 – Open at 12 Noon; Open 24 hrs
May 9 – Open 24 hrs
May 10 – Open 24 hrs
May 11 – Open 24 hrs
May 12 – Close at 11:45pm
Additional details on extended hours will be posted on the website and on signs within the building.
Intercession Hours begin May 13th.
Library CLOSING at 5pm Today, Thursday, February 3rd
Due to the incoming winter weather, the M.D. Anderson Library will be closing today at 5pm.

EndNote Classes, March 10th, 2011
Donna Kirking, lead trainer for EndNote, will be on-site on Thursday, March 10th to give two EndNote classes:
10:00-Noon: Building an EndNote Library (hands-on) *Basic
1:00-2:30: EndNote Advanced Q&A *Intermediate & Advanced
Both classes will be held in room 10-G in the Basement of the M.D. Anderson Library.

The M.D. Anderson Library will be open extended hours during the finals period:
Extended hours begin TUESDAY, December 7th, 2010 and end on THURSDAY, December 16th, 2010.
Tue Open at 7:00am (Open 24 hours)
Wed Open 24 hours
Thu Open 24 hours
Fri Close at 11:45pm
Sat 8:00am – 7:45pm
Sun Open at 12 noon (Open 24 hours)
Mon Open 24 hours
Tue Open 24 hours
Wed Open 24 hours
Thu Close at 11:45pm
Please NOTE: A University ID will be required for entry/re-entry after 12 midnight any night the library is open 24 hours.

Nov 24th: Close at 5:45pm
Nov 25th: CLOSED
Nov 26th: 10:00am – 5:45pm
Regular hours resume on Saturday, Nov. 27th.

ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan Service) UNAVAILABLE, Monday, August 16th
The ILLiad service will be down for maintenance on Monday, August 16th. You will not be able to place requests or retrieve electronic materials until the maintenance is complete. You may still pick up received physical materials from the Service Desk in Anderson Library.

Printing/Learning Commons UNAVAILABLE July 12th
The Learning Commons computers and printing services across the library will be UNAVAILABLE on Monday, July 12th for equipment maintenance and software upgrades.
Users may wish to use the Technology Commons lab located in the basement of the library (entrance in the back facing the University Center) on the 12th. Equipment checkout from the Learning Commons will be available.

Remote Access Unavailable, 7am – 10am, Sunday
