Gail Peter Borden is the Director of Graduate Studies at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design. He will discuss his experience researching, writing and publishing monographs. He is the author of New Essentialism: Material Architecture, Material Precedent: the Typology of Modern Tectonics, Process: Material and Representation in Architecture, and others. A discussion will follow, moderated by Director of Undergraduate Studies Rafael Beneytez-Duran.
