Stradivari Quartet Archives

The recordings of the Stradivari Quartet are now available for streaming directly at http://digital.lib.uiowa.edu/strad. The recordings in this digital collection include many of the performances and most of the works performed by the group.  Among these are the American premier of Milo Cipra’s Quartet no. 5 (April 20, 1983), the first recording of Robert Stewart’s Quartet no. 5 (April 20, 1988), and the world premiere of Linda Riddle Williams’ Arcadia Quartet (October 17, 1990). This collection is part of the University of Iowa Digital Library and the Rita Benton Music Library.
