These sites have the latest information about the oil spill disaster: Gulf of Mexico – Transocean Drilling Incident, and South Alabama University/gov docs.

Water will be out in the building for an indeterminate amount of time today as a water main leak is being repaired.  Water is also out at the University Center, but in other buildings on campus it is normal.

Special paint has been used to create a very large whiteboard wall in each of the study rooms on the 2nd floor (near the staircase and next to the Blue wing hallway).

Dry-erase markers and board erasers are available at the Information Desk for use with the study rooms.

Ovid is announcing that the April enhancements to OvidSP are scheduled for deployment on Tuesday, April 6th at 9:00 am. If you are using an OVID database on April 6th, your session will continue uninterrupted until you log out or your session times out. Ovid did not report and end time for the scheduled deployment of enhancements. Please remember that this includes the Lippencott electronic journals.

Beginning April 12, 2010, you should call the Telephone Questionnaire Assistance center at one of the numbers listed below to obtain a questionnaire. The phone lines will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (your local time) seven days a week through July 30, 2010.
